Financial Product Management At Global Business Intelligence Player

The client had successfully developed an off the shelf product using Business Objects technology for use in the manufacturing industry. It was then looking to develop something similar for the Financial Services industry. The consultant's role was the following:

• review the Business Objects product suite and assess its uses within the Financial Services industry
• discuss alternative products with other senior Financial Services staff
• develop prototypes of possible Financial Services Business Intelligence applications
• comment on product positioning for Business Objects
• assist consulting staff members to respond to project proposals.

By the end of the project a suite of Financial Services Business Intelligence products had been defined.
